1. Who is responsible

2. What data we collect and why

Quote requests. When you fill in the form, we receive your name, your phone number and/or email, the location and type of work and the message you write. We use this data only to reply to your request, arrange a visit and prepare the quote.

Direct contact. If you call us, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we use the details you send us to reply.

The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

3. How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for up to 24 months so that we can follow up. If we go ahead with the work, the data is then governed by the contract and by the applicable legal obligations (for example, invoicing). You can ask us to delete it sooner.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell or pass on your data. We use service providers who process it on our behalf and on our instructions:

These providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission). If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, Meta's privacy policy also applies.

5. Visit statistics and cookies

This website does not use cookies or any advertising or tracking tools. To know how many people visit us, we count visits anonymously: we record only the day, the page, the language, the type of device, the country and the website you came from. So as not to count the same person twice on the same day, a code is calculated that changes every day and cannot tell us who you are. Your IP address is not stored.

6. Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and for data portability, by writing to geral@santosbarbosa.pt. We reply within one month at most.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with the date it was updated.

Consumer dispute resolution

In the event of a consumer dispute, you may refer it to the competent alternative dispute resolution body: CICAP – Porto Consumer Information and Arbitration Centre. More information on the Portuguese Consumer Portal. You can also use the electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações).
